Finding a Contractor Finding a good contractor does take some time on your part. There are several ways to find out the things to look for in a contractor. Take the time to check the references out that are given to you. Call the Better Business Bureau to find out if they have any complaints filed against them. |
| If you can find a 4 or 5 year old Yellow Pages Book, look and see who is still in business now. You will be surprised to find out how many are already out of business. As of March 1, 2004 , all contractors have to be registered with the Texas Residential Construction Commission and should have a certification number. |
